Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter is a new generation of highprecision liquid level measurement product developed based on the principle of magnetostriction. It has the characteristics of high precision, stability and reliability, long service life, exquisite structure, strong environmental adaptability, convenient installation, and multiple output/output options. Compared with other liquid level transmitters, it has obvious advantages and can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, water conservancy, pharmaceutical, food Liquid level measurement of beverage and other liquid tanks. Measurement and monitoring of liquid levels and interfaces in environmental protection and industrial processes such as hydrological monitoring and water treatment. Supporting multiple signal outputs, a magnetostrictive liquid level sensor can simultaneously measure liquid level, interface, and multiple temperature points.
Measuring Principle
Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter is mainly composed of a measuring rod, an electronic chamber and a non-contact floating ball sleeved on the measuring rod. The measuring rod is equipped with a magnetostrictive wire (waveguide wire), which is made of non magnetic stainless steel tube and reliably protects the waveguide wire. When it works, an initial pulse is generated by the electronic circuit inside the electronic chamber. When this initial pulse is transmitted in the waveguide wire, a rotating magnetic field is generated along the direction of the waveguide wire. When this magnetic field meets the permanent magnetic field in the floating ball, a magnetostrictive effect is generated, causing the waveguide to twist. This twisting is sensed by the energy pickup mechanism installed in the electronic chamber and converted into corresponding current pulses, By calculating
the time difference between the starting pulse and the ending pulse through an electronic circuit, the liquid level value of the measured liquid can be accurately measured.
